Hi! I’m Orlee, owner/operator/farmer at The Flower Farm.

How did I get here? Well: I have been fortunate to work in jobs that allowed me to be outside, like teaching sailing and leading canoe trips. I feel most (quite literally) grounded when I can connect with and get to know the land. Getting a college degree in Political Science opened my eyes to the structure and pitfalls of the food system, which led me to work on a vegetable farm after graduating. I tried my hand at growing flowers and quickly realized I found more joy in harvesting Cosmos and Zinnias than kale.

I’ve been drooling over flowers since a young age, it just took a little while to find my way back.
